Battlefield 3 Countdown

With only just over two weeks to go, I can easily say I'm getting excited for this game

Here's some multiplayer footage from the PC showing just what the Frostbite Engine 2.0 is capable of.

SO much happening in the gaming world!

Lately, Bethesda has released a lot of new screenshots about skyrim, a majority of them focusing on the races and what they look like in this installment of the elder scrolls. You can view them all below:

Battlefield 3 - E3

Jesus. That's all I can say about battlefield 3. Releasing just before November this year, Battlefield 3 is expected to definitely be a game of the year. I'm not quite sure of the plot, but who really cares when it appears to be such a beautiful and photo-realistic game, with awesome multi player just like its predecessors.

So what's new in Battlefield 3?
Well its using the brand new Frostbite 2 engine, which allows more features then ever before in a battlefield game. Apparently, everything is destructible in the environment, and your able to interact with any part of the environment (eg rest your weapon on a barricade, lean against a wall etc)

The PC version will allow 64 player maps, while the xbox/ps3 version will only allow 18-32.
The PC version is being really amped up by DICE, which is great, since PC gaming has been seen as down lately.

Regardless of platform though, this game is bound to be absolutely amazing. Just check out the E3 gameplay below. Enjoy!

Skyrim at E3

Hey guys. In case you didnt get around to seeing anything from E3 (the worlds biggest video game convention) I'm going to compile most of the information in a few posts over the next week or so.

Obviously first up is Skyrim, as it is my most anticipated game this year :) Todd Howard (the CEO of Bethesda) was interviewed and he pretty much gave running commentary of a HEAP of gameplay. Anyway here it is:

After watching this I know i'll definitely need to re-learn to play this game. Its clearly a lot different then oblivion and morrowind alike. And knowing I'm heading off to university within 3 months of this game being released is just a pain! I don't think I'll have enough time to completely finish it. Oh well I'll just have to see what the future brings :)

Absence

Hey guy's.

Sorry that it has been a while. I've only just returned from a holiday to Europe. I travelled to France to watch the Tennis, following and seeing all of Roger Federer's match's. It was such a shame to see him lose in the final.

Anyway, more importantly. E3!

I've been watching all the trailers and reading all of the articles about it and all of the new games either announced or just showcasing. And man, 2011 is going to be one hell of a year. Besides portal 2 there haven't been many impressive releases this year, but the last 3 months of the year will certainly make up for that, especially with battlefield 3 and skyrim.

A bundle of information coming your way incase you missed it on the e3 live stream or just not sure where to look. Back to you soon

Thanks!

My Minecraft Puzzle Map

So guys, I've made a pretty long puzzle map for minecraft, and I'm not sure if I want to spend more time on it by adding a story. By doing this I'd need to re-do most of my rooms to match a certain theme or something, but it might make it more enjoyable.

I've spent atleast 30 hours making this thing, and Im currently taking a break from it cos it's doing my head in. Can't get one of my traps to work, and its making me go insane lol.

Anyway, It should be ready within the next 10 days.
Screenshots coming tomorrow :)
